Satyrs are all the passions of humanity rolled into one furry bundle. Lust, art, gambling,  music, everything that gets the blood pumping is the essence of these Fae. They believe that the path to wisdom is to follow your passions, and if they are right, even the youngest Satyr is wiser than any sage of another kith.
    Satyrs tend to be bohemians and artists. Their poetry and music ranks among the best of the Fae, and their parties are legendary. They are uninhibited lovers, and rarely lack for company, although they tend not to understand when they change playmates and the former partner feels jilted. The deeper emotions are a mystery to these fae as they ride the crest of the moment.
     Although they do tend to embrace the wild side of their natures, these fae are also great philosophers and thinkers, and their advice, if you can get it, is to be highly valued. Their debates and discussions are just as thorough as their revels, and they learn a lot about people when a party is going full force.
    Satyrs have yet to master any form of self-restraint. They will happily insult the highest of the high and never think twice about it, and a Satyr refusing a drink is an event to be remembered. Other Fae can get caught up in this spirit of taking everything offered and get themselves into a lot of trouble, and it is a large part of the reason that while Satyrs are usually well liked, they are not generally respected by other fae... except maybe for never seeming to get hangovers.
